Southern Maryland Concert Band: From Darkness into Light

In addition to its busy annual performance schedule, the Southern Maryland Concert Band serves as Â鶹ֱ²¥’s concert band in the music program. Consisting of community members and Â鶹ֱ²¥ students, the band performs a concert each semester on campus as well as numerous concerts in the community.
This spring’s concert will feature a progression from beginning to end of works moving from the darker side of humanity to the lighter side. The ensemble is directed by David Monk.
